4-Day Ndutu Wildebeest Migration And Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 1: TRANSFER KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Meet your professional driver guide at Kilimanjaro Airport drive to Mc Ellys Hotel in Arusha town, only one hour driving.

On the way to Mc Ellys Hotel drive will show you Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, coffee and banana farms, then pass to the Bureau de change to change the money. Then drop you at Mc Ellys Hotel for overnight, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: WILDEBEEST MIGRATION -LAKE NDUTU

Pick up from Mc Ellys Hotel at 09.00am, drive with picnic lunch to the Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem.

Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife.

Have a afternoon game drive, majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to the end of march in this areal.

The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.

After Sunset, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Ndutu camp.

DAY 3: NDUTU - WILDEBEEST MIGRATION VIEWING

Early morning at 05.30am have a cup of coffee and proceed for sunrise game drive at Lake Ndutu, at 8.00am drive back to the camp for full breakfast.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive with picnic lunch in the Ndutu area. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. See great herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge (the crater rim).

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER - 6 HOURS GAME VIEWING IN THE CRATER FLOOR

After an early breakfast you will descend Ngorongoro Crater to the crater floor for an amazing once in a lifetime 6 hours game drive with a picnic lunch to enjoy.

In the crater you will spot the endangered black rhino, lion, elephant, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest and other wild animals. Also in Ngorongoro Crater, you will experience the Soda Lake where you will see many species of birds including the spectacular flamingos.

Late evening you will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha.
